A stylish new effort from Drugs Made Me Smarter, who eschews the often morbid tone of his first album and opts for warmer, more relaxed grooves. His peculiar take on minimal electronica seems to be growing in both technical resources and emotional registers, as Rational Choice proves while it swims inside its hallucinatory fish bowl. You can dance to these tracks, letting them slowly creep up on you... is this a haunted dance floor then? It's a weird thing, to be sure.
